Dozens of published studies have linked mobile phone radiation to many serious health effects in animals and people. These include behavioral changes, sleep disruption, damage to the eye and blood-brain barrier, and changes in brain metabolism, immunological and nerve functions, hormone levels and heart rate. These and other effects are well-known among scientists but not to the public.
MOBILE PHONE DANGERS
Several published studies have linked mobile phone radiation to cancer promotion and DNA damage. These include "clear evidence" of malignant tumors in rats and "significant" DNA damage in mice brains, revealed by the US National Toxicology Program in 2018; and a possible increase in malignant glioma brain tumors among long-term mobile phone users, as found in the 2010 Interphone study.
CANCER AND DNA DAMAGE
Many published studies have linked mobile phone radiation to damage to reproductive functions. This includes lower sperm count in men who carried phones in their pockets, and deformed and sluggish sperm exposed to radiation. Among the effects observed in laboratory animals exposed to mobile phone radiation are birth defects, fetal death, temporary infertility and low birth weight.
